Weidungs Welt! : Connection 2001-02-22Merry Meet!So, what do you think? Do you like the new layout? I hope you do, we've worked hard on making the site easier to navigate and faster to load. Did you notice how the page seemed to not having any new news for quite a while (before the new layout)? That was because of a server problem with the place that hosts this site (Crosswinds). I tried logging on to upload the pages, but I just got an error, and that went on for looooooong. :c(( Now, because you can read this, the problem is finally solved. There would have been all the latest news up over a week ago, but as I said: I couldn't access the Crosswinds file manager, and therefore I couldn't update the site. That happens every once in a while, and it seems that it always happens when I've got really hot news and things like that, and really MUST update the page. If that's not Murphy's Law, I don't know what is! Anyway. I hope you'll like the bits and pieces that are new, and also, the modifications. Speaking of new bits and pieces, we've now got 104 pictures from the fanclubparty! The lyrics section is divided into three parts (TA, MT, other lyrics), the biographies have got some more pictures (unfortunately, they haven't been officially approved for use here, but that's because I don't know who took those photos!), and the biographies will be updated soon. I've known for over a year now that TA's bio is too short, not to mention Claudia's and Nora's! Don't forget to have a look in the Photo Gallery, there might be some photos you haven't seen before - at least not here! Calendar has been updated, the questions in the Quiz Show (Interactivities) have been updated too, so if you want to test yourself, feel free. :c) You get to answer 10 randomly selected questions at a time, and there's 60 questions that it selects from, so that should keep you going for a while. ;c) Fanmade is updated, as well as the Discography (MT 1998- singles & albums). By the way, did you know that WW! is the only site that has all the cover images of Thomas' old singles in German? It's true! And we're also alone on having such a complete section of TA solo works and productions! WW! Specials is still there, but it will contain other things than it used to - site themes (like the Wedding Special - I didn't have the heart to get rid of it *smi-hile*) and reports of meeting MT or going to concerts. All transcripts, interviews, silly animations, video files etc. has moved together with L.O.V.E. to the File Archive. Due to this change, and also to the new layout, it's closed for the time being, but will open again later, when it's got a new layout finished. Fanmade. The section of this site that grows the fastest! At the moment, the queue to get in is pretty long, because I haven't had the time to process everything. There are two stories waiting, at least four lyrics (by different people), and about four pictures (one of them is a very nice background of the TA/CH Wedding), AND I've still got tons of lyrics from Romantic Reality to process. *phew!* I'm prioritizing RR's lyrics at the moment, and it's not because he's bribing me (well... at least not just because of that...), it's because he's the one who's waited the longest - since November last year. So much work and so little time to do it in. OK, I will stop talking now and give Crosswinds another go and see if it wants me to upload now. Ohh, and by the way, before I go, their email server is being weird (keeps telling me I've got no new POP messages, when I know I do, I saw them yesterday!), so if you send me emails, I might or might not receive them.
